Is there anyway to tell how old a collar lizard is?

i think that males have spurs that get bigger as they get older. if i am wrong on this i apologize, but i had a male a few yars ago and he was pretty old and had huge leg spurs. the males i have now have little or no spurs which makes me think that they are young. iam sure someone will clear this up.

I'm no expert but my collared lizard Ezra's colors become more brilliant with each shed.

Cory was a baby and he's developing a black gular area and black along his belly.

I think that teeth can give you a great cue on current age.

If there are no visible teeth, lizard could be less than 1 years old.

If some appears visible but not very long, between 1 and 2.

Above 2 years old, it could be hard to tell .. but if it have a denture, its reaching golden age
