crossbreeding waterdragons

jdyer May 05, 2005 04:34 PM

I don't want an ethical discussion, I only have 1 juvenile and can't do anything about the answer. I just want to know if anyone has tried, been successful, or not. I know there is a hybrid forum, but it seems they're more involved in snakes.

Could you cross an Eastern with a Chinese? I was thinking if you could get one of the blue and cross it with a gray, it could be pretty exciting looking.

I know that chinese like more humidity but not so much more that a hybrid would be miserable in either condition. ( I think anyway) Also it seems that easterns are more calm and it could calm down the more skittish chinese.

What do you think?

John

You mean crossing a chinese with an Aussie dragon? It wouldn't happen, they won't interbreed. They aren't closely related despite having the word dragon in their names.
