Striped Spotted clutches times two

Roy Stockwell May 05, 2005 05:09 PM

I received two clutches of striped spotted python eggs last night.
One from my largest female and the other from a younger female.
This will be my first time producing these, and it should be interesting to see how many of the babies resemble the parents.
Here's a series of pictures leading up to the egg laying

Above the largest female in the inverted position in her egg box

Above female tightly wrapped around her clutch. It's almost a perfect ball
and I couldn't really count them but I think its between 17 and 20

Here's the clutch, on the way to the incubator.

Above a second smaller female, also laid the same time, a smaller clutch of 11 but not a slug in either clutches. Now only to wait 45 days before they start pipping.

I never knew of any spotted morphs other than the Cape york and granite varieties! Those striped spotteds look awesome; where did you aquire them? Are there any more spotted varieties out there?
