I live in San diego and I love to road cruise and hike the local deserts looking for rosy boas and other herps. Next week I'll be working in Houston, and I'd love to find someone to go look for herps with an evening or two while I'm there. I'm more than happy to pay for all of the gas, since you'll be supplying the vehicle and the knowledge of the local area. Is there decent herping within a reasonable driving distance of Houston this time of year?
