freezerburnt mice

i bought a bag of 100 mice and whenever i go to get some they are freezerburnt, is this bad for the snake? how can i avoid this??

Do you only have the one snake? If it were me I would repack them into smaller groups and vacuum seal them if you can. They will last longer if you are opening them and leaving new air in there all the time.

Cheap method for vacuum sealing. Recommended in another site but not used personally since only having one snake and easy access to f/t doesn't require bulk purchases.

Can I freeze my own mice? Does one just kill the mouse and simply stick in the freezer, or does one have to do a whole process. BTW, I have had this snake for 2 weeks or so!! SO I'm a total newbie.
