Amazing.
I saw that. I was puzzled because I don't think they kept a heat for it. I could be wrong, It has been a while since I have seen the site.
I know and Argus that the owners thought was tame. Its cage was very cool. When they gave it a basking spot, it started acting like a normal Argus.
I am by no means slamming the keepers of the nile. I am stating that I do not have enough info to know if it was really tame or just very cool.
The picture is a little one I got that is eating crickets out of my hand. He is nice now that he is young. It would be nice if he stayed that way.
I was feeding him crickets on basking spot and he climbed down to drink water. Monitors are so cool

These heat lamps make my electric bill to high.
I know what it looked like as a hatchling and what it will look like in a few months. I have one of my own here same locality. The spotted neck gives it away as a youngster, as apposed to the more banded pattern on the neck of others.
Pics of mine are in the nile subforum. Good luck with that little fella.
