scratching bottoms of feet

taralynn_hughes May 16, 2003 08:28 PM

Roan shed the other day, and ever since then he has been occasionally rubbing the bottom of his back feet against the bio-vines. He doesn't do it all the time, just at least once a day for a few seconds. I'd look under his foot to see if it's red or discolored, but how do you do that when he always has his feet on something? Could this just be one of his quirks?

My veiled was doing that for awhile after one of his sheds. It was months ago and he stopped and never did it again.....

Sometimes it takes longer for the pads of their feet to shed completely. It must itch, and he's probably trying to get rid of some old skin.
