Hatchling conundrum.

snakepimp May 05, 2005 10:25 PM

I have some F2 offspring hatching right now which are from the following lineage.
Lavender/Anerythristic het-for-Amel x Ghost = F1 Anerythristics.

the resultant F1's have been bred sibling-to-sibling and should produce:
Anerythristics
Ghosts
Lavender/Anerythristics
Lavender Ghosts.

How can I tell the difference between the Ghosts, Lav/Anerys and Ghost Lavs?
Any hints, suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Many of the should be out of the egg when I get home from work, and I will post pictures later tonight. Whilst pipping they all appeared to be either Anery, or Lavender. I am frightened at the prospect of not being able to tell them apart.
thanks!

Can you tell which ones are ghost, and which ones are lavender? I think there are 2 of each.

The only sure way to know would be.......send them to me and then take my word for it when I tell what they are....
what? Not a good idea? I kind of like it...LOL
other then that choice (my favorite) I really don't know how to help.
The best thing to do would be to post a lot of pics after they shed.
Experienced eyes will be able help identify what they are.
Although it can be very very dificult to tell the difference between a dark ghost and an anery or a light anery and a ghost. They can fool you.
