7:30 - 8:30 p.m. "Bog Turtle (Clemmys muhlenbergii) Protection and Section 7 Coordination: Building Consensus Among Environmental Agencies and the Public" by William Branch, Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA).

William Branch, Maryland State Highway Administration, will discuss the life history and present an historic range of the endangered Bog Turtle, as well as SHA's recent coordination efforts to design a new road system while providing permanent protection for Bog Turtles in Carroll County, Maryland.

Prior to the speaker program, there is a social hour filled with tantalizing desserts, and the opportunity to browse our sale table, educational displays and animal showing area.

All meeting are held from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the beautiful Banneker Museum in Catonsville, Maryland.

Directions to Banneker:
From Baltimore.. take I-695 to exit 15 Rte 40 and go west towards Ellicott City; go 1 mile; turn left at the traffic light onto Rolling Road; at second traffic light turn right onto Old Frederick Road; go 1.3 miles and turn right onto Oella Avenue (Banneker sign on corner); go 0.2 mile to park entrance on the left.

From Washington DC.. take I-95 north towards Baltimore; take exit 49 on the left to I-695 towards Towson; take exit 13, Rte 144 (Frederick Road) west towards Catonsville; go 2.7 miles, passing five traffic lights and turn right onto Oella Avenue (Banneker sign on corner); go 0.4 mile to park entrance on left.

Park in front of building and enter through main entrance.
