problem

I've kept leos for about 11-12 yrs and even bred them succesfully for a few years but never really had the money to get into any high end morphs so they've just becaame my pets. I have a male leo that looks like someone filled him up with air. Even when I pick up he makes this weird sound. I've never seen anything like this; sorry I don't have a picture but it looks just like I've described someone stuck an air hose down his mouth and filled him with air. From the the description I gave, can anyone tell what it might be and how to cure it. I tried flushing out but nothing came out.

Thanks,
Louie

The pic is of my eleven or twelve year old

Reptiles sometimes puff out their throats if they feel threatened or scarded. They do this to look bigger then they are. I don't actually know if leopards do this, but it sounds like that kind of behaviour.
If he's bloated all the time, there might be a serious problem, and you may want to consider going to the vet.

How do you mean like he's filled up with air? If you had a pic, it would be easier to tell. When my first leo was impacted, his stomache blew up like a balloon like someone inflated him also. I guess the technical term is called a distended abdomen. If that's the case, you need to get him to a vet asap. But like I said, I'm not really sure what you're talking about exactly without seeing it myself.
