Hi, I just found this little lizard on the road, its extremely friendly which leads me to believe it might be a pet that someone lost..I'm not sure what it is though, from pictures I've seen, it looks like it might be an alligator lizard, any ideas? Also what would they eat? And what sort of environment would they prefer? I'm on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

Northern Alligator Lizard (Elgaria coerulea principis). They are native. Ask about husbandry in the Alligator Lizard forum.
