I asked the same question in March this year. My female shed on day 97 and gave birth on day 108. It had never happened to me but after some replies to my post, It seems to happen sometimes and with no ill effects. Just keep he nice and humid, I sprayed my females cage every morning during and after her shed. She gave birth to 25 babies and no slugs. Good luck and post some baby pics when you get 'em!

I would agree with Derek that the oddities in boa breeding are very common, I myself have a female who is on day 130 and i know she is gravid, she's huge and fiesty and always in heat conservation. She gave us healthy babies last year a little late but... The oddities are out there and i wouldnt worry about it. The boas will do what they have to do and when they are ready they will give you some little beauties... Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind
