My cornsnake laid 31 eggs today...WOW.. Never seen so many before.. Poor thing is so thin and worn out.. She started laying her clutch around noon on Thursday and was still dropping eggs at 2pm this afternoon (Friday).. cant even imagine delivering for that length of time..
ONE concern I do have is the eggs were in a pile when I discovered them..and they are stuck together.. So I am having to incubate them as such.. I hope I am doing it right.. Covered with moist vermiculite??? I will be checking on them day to day to make sure they are not too moist or getting moldy..
I have NO idea what i will do if they all hatch. 31 mouths is a lot to feed...PLUS this snake double clutched last year..So I can expect her to do same this year...Her Last year for breeding...Way too much worrying about her..
If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me... Especially on the incubating part..
