Do you know if the mites that feed on rodents would also feed on snakes???
Also, what are the signs to watch for that would indicate that your mice have mites??

Mites are, as my vet loves to remind me, species specific. Though we always laugh at this since I am fair game for any and all bugs. I can break out in a rash from contact with either one.
Theoretically.....rodent mites are one thing and herp mites another and one should not infest the other.
Generally rodents with mites will scratch themselves bloody, drop coat, drop weight and be generally unhappy looking.
