hello i was told my blue tegu was a female when got her.. but however when she was going to the bathroom today i think i saw the hemipenis... do tegus hemipenis pop out when going to the bathroom????? thanks

It's not unusual for them to pop 'em out when they poop. You may well have a male.

Or you may have a female! Sometimes, I am told, a female will evert a hemiclitoris upon deffication. As if it wasn't difficult enough to tell the sexes when they are little!

I have never seen a female pop anything out while relieving itself, but that also doesn't mean it's not possible.
I'd guess it's a male. How large is your tegu? If it's around three feet you can change it for cloacal spurs (some people call them vent bumps)
Here is a picture showing the cloacal spurs on a male. A female will not have these large 'bumps'.
