I haven't shared pix of these two for quite some time so figured i would. The wild-type is the female; the amelanistic is the male.

those are uhh pretty nice lookin kings there terry, are they descendants of the Ga.comercial collector founding animal poached and sold to NERD story? or were they created by other means??? either way very nice GETULA very nice indeed,,,
BTW loved your article in last months reptiles about the 5 milks very cool,,,,,,,peace

Hi Thomas,

These are two from the original "NERD" line. BTW, did you see the post (LINK below) of Keith's beautiful north florida chain kings? They're a good reminder how much chain kings in some parts of the range can show characteristics we might more usually associate with cal kings. But those are snakes with a known lineage. It's unfortunate the albino chain kings don't look exactly like the textbook classic chain king, but they're close--clearly a lot closer than a lot of the animals people collect in parts of the GETULA GETULA range.

thanks for the kind words about the milk article. that was in Reptiles' annual publication they call Reptiles USA. It was fun to write it, a good chance to touch bases with numerous people here and on the milksnake forums. I made a couple new friends in the process. Can't beat that.
