just a question

Just wondering.... I also own a kingsnake... They are kept in seperate rooms. If I hold my corn after holding the king could that stress her out? Also, if I hold the king after the corn do you think I have a good chance of being bitten since kings are cannibals?

BTW, Hope went blue yesterday. I'm very excited about her first shed!

I put some milk snakes in the room with my corns a couple of months back, and they all acted very "nervous" for a couple of weeks, whatever that means...
I just observed a more pensive mood, and moving around in ...aprehension, I guess, as opposed to a "hunting" cage cruise.
Just my observation, though. I have never been bit by my milks after handling corns, but I use the hand sanitizer gel when I switch species (at a minimum,) and depending on the apparent health of an individual, sometimes I use it between every specimen.

I have one lone Kingsnake, who is kept in a bank of vivs which also house Corns. They've been like that for five years and I've not noticed any change in behaviour from either Corns or the King. They seem not to notice each other. Then again, my Kingsnake is very laid back and and relaxed - nothing seems to phase him. He's never so much as hissed at me.

I always wash my hands between handling snakes from different vivs anyway. Cuts down on the potential transmission of nasties. Guess that helps.
