colored light bulbs in lamp

JakeD May 07, 2005 10:12 PM

I was just wondering if colored light bulbs have any affect on ball pythons. Does it have to be white or can it also be a red bulb. Also, what kind of wattage do you need....I don't want to bake the snake. Thanks.

It dont make no difference what color of bulb you use, I use a black bulb at night, and some people use red at night or at day. Ball pythons dont need nutrients from lights, as they are nocturnal, so that doesnt matter. as for temperature, you have to experiment.
