hahahaa..well I got 2 female "oreos" Neil...they better eat.....anyways........

really..ok......female ball ,,huge.....shed out 2-8-05..yes.that's 2 as in February.......she should have laid on .........3-9...........well..she didn't.and din't,,,and didn't....................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...................

well today she is laying....so..the way I figure it...they should be laid today and hatch out tonight or tomorrow..they have to big enough in there ? correct????

56 days is my record. 89?? That's insane! What's even more insane? It STILL won't put an end to the "why don't I have eggs yet" posts. LOL!

I don't have ANY eggs from Ball Pythons yet. That's MY whine! Ha ha!

they surprise you! Last year I had two females that shed TWICE after ovulation and laid eggs-THREE and FOUR days AFTER this SECOND shed!! Surprised me, went all these years and had minimum of 21 days, maximum of high 30 days, between shed and eggs. So....my speculation is that there are more variables than we think that influence this particular event. As usual, it is what makes this more fun and interesting!

original pre-lay shed was 3-7-05, was expecting eggs in april. No eggs sooo hmmmm, was she too small (1400 gm), was he too small (650 gm). So I palpated her and could feel the eggs toward the end of April. Now she's going into shed again and you can see the eggs in her with no problem. So hopefully she'll drop them before too long. Gotta love this hobby.

by the ay she laid 12.........another little batch of hets.........

(I did get my smallest batch this year.female gave me 6 last year.....5 albino and a het male.........this year 4.with a dud....so 3 is definatley my record low.....they are big eggs too though.....record before was 6 for a low).......

................as for thinking 89 days from pre-lay shed.......I deinatley KNEW she was gravid......I have a bunch of females here that I don't know and don't worry if they are gravid or not.........they'll drop or eat.whatever they want to do.........some people get a shed and think eggs eggs eggs..and the whole time the female is not gravid at all.........

...have fun........I should get more eggs tonight from a big ole' girl .......(old as in 7)......

..........all is true.........I have no friends ...especially in here.....why should I bullchit?..........

...........snakes as far as shedding when they want .......do it all the time.........corns eat all the way till they shed at times.....lay before they shed.........I've had snakes eat and lay the same day .........she laid 3 times that year and ate the whole time............balls are wierd as any other snake...they do what they want........

ever hear the baby corn stories of their first meals........?..not stupid like chicken soup coated mice for balls....(it works for other pythons but not sure for balls)........how about baby corn eating a worm first meal?.....a guppy?.........not mine.but done......
