Pics of my adult caiman

Tugi May 08, 2005 10:57 AM

Here's Aranette. She's 32 years old. She was neglected severely and has a lower jaw that is shorter than the upper one, and needs to be hand fed. She was in a class room for 27 years in a tiny little cage without proper lighting or diet. She's been living in a pet store, and this saturday she will finally have her own swimming area and "natural" life if the transport goes well. For all those of you who have baby caimans, I hope you can keep it its whole life because finding a home for a caiman is not easy!!

Good for you taking in a critter that is less than "perfect". Best of luck to both of you.

I commend you for taking in an animal that has health issues.I really think that's great that someone will care enough to put up the expense for taking care of a crocodilian like the one pictured.
