coconut fiber rotting?

sandnmyteeth2 May 08, 2005 12:38 PM

Considering using some coconut fiber lining near my waterfall, just wondering if a little water was trickling over this if it will rot. The liner that I purchased is used in hanging flower baskets. Would appreciate any feed back. Thanks.

I believe the stuff has a 5 year "no roting" gaurantee. I've used it for over a year in a few of my tanks and had no rotting. One tank it is even in the water with no rotting.

By the way, most people recommend redoing tanks every 5 years anyways. A lot of people redo them more frequently due to wanting to try something new or improve on their tank.
