Albino Ruthvens Kingsnake laying eggs 5/7/05

Sweet_Pickle May 08, 2005 12:42 PM

I have to admit that I am not into Albino Ruthvens Kingsnakes... but I got rid of my Green Tree Pythons last year in a big trade and part of the deal was that I wound up with two pairs of these snakes. The first layed 5 fertile eggs yesterday and the 2nd is a little bigger so we will see...

I notice many not into them . I have never seen one other than in pics but find them great looking.
What is it about them you dont care for? I find them as good looking as the other popular kings.

I agree that they are great snakes and wonder what it is that you don't like about them. I know their fertility is questionable, but they ARE the FIRST albino tricolor ever...

Soon there will be albino striped Ruthveni. I think then there will be lots of heads turning and interest building on the Queratero King (Ruthveni)...
I wish you all the luck with your eggs...

I think that they are nice snakes and I have nothing against them - I just have so many that I have really gotten to the point of having to "choose" where my interests will take me.
