Most of us put the lights on the cage top or have them hanging so they shine in from the sides at the top. Live potted shrub type plants are best, but you can always drape some fake silk leaved vines or sprays of leaves through the cage mesh to add more foliage or climbing paths. Most of us use potted Ficus trees or large bushy schefflera plants for the major climbing structure. For so many herps in tanks "simpler is better". But for chams, "more is better" in terms of plants. Get the biggest plants you can find and prune them to open up the plant's structure so the cham can climb around through it. I like hanging my feeding bins from the tree itself rather than on the cage side. Gives shy feeders more security. Use larger feeding bins such as storage boxes rather than small cups. Chams often don't see the prey in small dishes and they don't like hitting their tongues on the cup sides (I know I wouldn't!). I'd suggest looking/reading the various articles on www.chameleonnews.com for other caging ideas. There are pics, suggestions, and ideas you could look at.
