Blindness

I heard somewhere that since snakes do not have eyelids they do run a chance of being blinded if you leave cage lights on too much. Any truth to that?

since balls mostly spend thier time in their hides, it's unlikely that they would get too much exosure to the light anyway. I personally have never had a light in any of my tanks, so can't tell you from expereince. Sounds to me like a wives tale, but I'll defer to the experts.
