this is debs son, tinys owner. tiny got better for a few days, but has now gotten bad agian. our vet will be in tomarow at 1 so we are taking him in for blood work. last week we found out he had giardia. he has not eaten today and is lethargic.
as of right now he is sitting on my lap, which is not normal for him.

I asssume you know that Giardia is the terror intestinal infection. If you are infested, fecal samples often come up empty.
Just in case you do not know, you need to trash-can anything you remeve from the cage. You need to disinfect the doorknobs you touch after you handle this iguana. A good way to get your hands positively free of giardia after handling your ig is to use anti-bacterial soap and a Scotch Brite pad, and wash for three minutes no less. You *do not* want yourself or anyone else in your house to catch Giardia.

Also disinfect the water faucet parts you touch. Be very paranoid and obsessive. I know because i know someone who contracted Giardia. Those tiny bastards hook themselves to your intestinal walls. It's horrible.
