heat mats

do heat mats have they own thermestat on them? or do you have to buy them separate

If you plan to use a heat mat I would suggest to use a thermostat but these can be a little dear although very accurate and worth the money spent. You can also use rheostats though not as effective as a thermostat the cost is slightly lower Hope this helps.

if i was to get a theermostat with my heatmat then i used a daylight bulb(just for light) at say 15W would that be ok then a moonlinght bulb to see them at night at the same wattage and use the cooling of my room over night to provide the temp drop? i just want to be ableto see my leo clearly when i get it. and i should start wiht my setup soon because im going to ge alot of money from work the next 2 weeks so if i postpics would you guys give it a god look and scrutanise it for me? tell me whats good and bad?
