Awesome pictures!!! Is this in your yard? Where are you located to see these guys in nature? I would love to take a trip to see. I live in Rhode Island so there aren't any lizards basking here.

That red tail gives away its location. Local herpers here in AZ are very familiar with there location. Those chucks are found in an AZ state park, which is illegal to herp in. They do range in areas that are out of the park though.
