Quick Note!!!!

WOW apparently everyone and their mothers are all creating new boa morphs!!! I just seen some "ivory" boas for 850 a pair, a heart boa the other day, a one legged boa etc.........................................If i sold every boa that i had for that much i would be a millionaire and the king of the morphs i could name myself morphking...oh wait...Anyways this message is not to offend anyone just a quick rant about how ridiculous the strive to find the next boa morph is without taking time to actually look at the animal for what it really is.......A NORMAL BOA with a odd saddle...we must remember the common Columbian boa is probably the most common kept reptile on the face of the planet besides an iguana. There are millions of these things out there we should take a step back and realize what the market is turning into.

Well first the Ivory Boas are a true line of Anery boas from Jeff Ronnie, I think It is a cross between his pastels (another true line) and His Anery Boas. I also saw the Heart Boa and although I thought it was kinda cool it is not a morph in any kind. I once saw a boa that had a saddle that looked like Mickey Mouse and although neat looking, not a morph.
A morph by definition would be something thing that is visually/genetically different and reproducible! If it is not reproducible then it is a mutation/defect. While some of them may be rather cool looking, they are not morphs!
I see some many BS artist out there right now that it drives me crazy. It has gotten to the point that I won’t buy a snake from a guy I don’t know and that is really not fair to the guy who is just breeding a few animals to support his hobby, but there are just some many wannabees and plain flat out crooks out there that I don’t know what else to do.
Ok I will stop now before my blood pressure goes any higher.
Thanks

I agree with you and the problem was not with the ivory boa but it in fact these were not ivory boas. So there in that lies the problem my freind. I agree with you some of the boas are kind of cool looking but not worth $500 each. I'm not sure if you were ranting back towards me but no bad blood wanted on my end whatsoever. I was simply stating that its making it bad for the market and buyers tend to become a little more suspicious of everyone for that matter not only the small "breeder" or whatever you want to call him trying to sell something that is worth wholesale about $35 to someone for $1000. Too many unproven abberencies out there that people are cashing in on. I stopped buying boas wholesale because people do not realize how many BCI are actually out there and no matter how many there are they still want the same amount for them and even more for one that has some strange pattern calling it something new when in fact it is not. Maybe I'm just being particular to a market thats been like this for years but i see how things are sitting on here for months on end when some are legit and some are not. It sometimes ruins the fun for all of us whether people realize it or not. Thanks for the reply.

No I was ranting at you, did not mean to make it look that way. I agree with your post completly, way too many scammers out there, I was just continuing my rant from a few days ago LOL on the same subject.
Thanks
