Snake_Master May 09, 2005 08:51 PM

I found a corn snake today in north alabama i have always wanted to find one when i spotted one on the other lane with a car coming toward it i screamed stop and pointed i know he saw me and it and he gave it gas and swerved to hit it!! what a a$$hole. it is still alive but is barley moving and holding its head sideways is there anything to cure it probally not its my luck with snakes maybe its better in the morning but there was no use in swerving on the side of the road to hit a 3 foot corn. oh well its my sucky life.

What a jerk, i really hate people sometimes, why would anyone do that?

I would say the odds dont look good for this guy, if you really are serious about trying to fix him up you will need the assistant of a good herp vet. I would go about looking for one and if you explain its an emergency im sure they will get you in right away.

Good luck

Thats Alabama for you."the only good snake is a dead snake" state.

Actually, I think Alabama is one of the snake friendliest states in the US concerning herps. There are less restrictive laws for herpetoculturists in Alabama than almost any other state.

Now In Calif or Arizona people would not swerve to hit a snake but there are so many laws regulating keepers they want to take away all of our rights and just make snake keeping illegal. I think some other states are alost at that point.
