Just got D. rufozonatum, tips?

Hey everyone just got placed with a red banded wolf snake from a friend who i think couldn't keep it. He left while i was gone and left me a small hook and a wolf snake. It ate a gold fish while it was here. It's in a 10 gal with moss and eco-earth and a water bowl covering 2/3 of the tank he burrows in the eco earth sometimes but mainly sticks the the water. I spray daily, and check on him cuz his bud in with him died yesterday. Also his poop is teal, is this bad? Any tips, care info, ect. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If he is eating that is real good. These snakes usually have problems acclimating, so you are probably past that. They are also prone to skin infections. If you are worried about a possible intestinal problem , a vet would be a good idea, but if you wanted to treat without one, I would try a triple sulfur antibiotic sold for fish. Also a routine deworming with a mixture of metrondiazole and panacure, both are over the counter.
As far as misting is concerned, make sure that there is an area that remains completely dry so that the snake can regulate his skin moisture.

It died, i guess even though it ate it was still sick. Thanks for the help though.

don't feel bad its a tough snake to get established, and you got yours second hand.
