Got My New Leo

ShaunDuke Jul 11, 2003 07:01 PM

I just brought home and situated my new baby Pastel Leo. She is a little scrawny still, but the store said she is eating on her own again and is doing very well. She actually looks a lot better than before. She's a lot more active and beautiful. I'm naming her Alwen (All-when), sounds Elvish and its a pretty name for a pretty lizard. She is doing really good, and I used the advice with the paper towels and used it in one of her hiding spaces. I have to do the same with my other adult Melly.

Thanks everyone for the advice, and wish me luck on my new baby.

Actually, there is a site (I don't know the address) where you type in your name and it translates it into JRR Tolkein's Elvish language so you get your own elf name. Mine was Glewen (pronounced Gl-A-wen) and my sisters were (Thrania and Elaviel). Very pretty names!!! Good luck with your leos!!!

No kidding that is cool. If you remember or find the site post it or e-mail it to me. Tolkin invented a whole elvish language from his books just never seen to much on it. Kinda been an overseas thing I guess.

I have a program called The Everchanging Book Of Names, which is a neat name generator program hosting like 30 different languages, real or not. I use it a lot for all sorts of things.
