Good news about the rescue!

AlteredMind99 May 10, 2005 10:30 AM

As you might remember i had posted before about the leo who was surrendered to my clinic a little while ago. She was sickly thin (all bones sticking out) suffering from parasites, an eye infection and calcium deficiency. She was eating a small amount of food that we dangled in front of her with tweezers.

she is doing so good! For awhile we were worried cause she wasn't pooping, so we started her on some Calcium injections, after a couple inhections she started pooping just fine. She is eating like a horse, at least compared to how she was. Her eye infection is clearin up nicely and she is even gaining a little weight. She is a very sweet lizard and i am so happy it looks like she will be ok! Just wanted to share the great news with you all. I will be bringing her home tonight to continue her care at my house, so i will take a pic and show you!
