Something different in the pattern dept.

Rainshadow May 10, 2005 10:59 AM

Typically,we tend to see alot of dorsal aberrancies, elongated rectangular saddles & partial striping from the Harlequin project...so I was a bit surprised to see this "normal"(non-hypo)in a small group produced earlier this year.she's one month old today & showing some good color already. she looks nothing like her siblings, nor, either parent, just a little "odd ball".

something diff going on with that one! Such thin saddles, I would have thought hypo at first glance. Looks like a reverse striped tail too? So much color for only a month old, wow!

Dedicated hard work. Has it really been 8 long years?
I was already as excited about these animals as anything I am working with.
I would say that's more than something new in the pattern dept.
These animals make even more of my favorite thing... COLOR.
I saw some kind of new looking snake earlier this year except with about 1/8 of that color... & I really liked that one.
But this, WOW!!! Congrats BIG TIME!

Check the forum later for another little surprise! hope all the babies are doing well! congrats to you & Gray! If NC makes boas illegal,we'll all jump ship & move to Utah! I hear they're going to put them on the state flag over there!!!

they get better and better ... and when you think it can't get any better .... Tim throws in another bucket of red paint and rubs some extra saddles off with his eraser

amazing stuff !!

this is what an "erythrusiast" like me wants to see !!!

good luck this season ... but it looks like you're already well on your way
