do brazilians get a lot of white in them before they shed? mine is all of a sudden turning white from the stomach up. i have noticed that they get dull or white in betwen the scales but i have never seen the whole body start to become white.

Its thought to be mood based. Like Boas have light and dark phases. You are most likey to see your BRB with white sides on a nice humid night. Its perfectly normal.

...Like you said it seems to be related to mood or something. It happens most often at night and most often with young newly mature females though to some extent it does occur with all ages and both sexes. It also occurs very markedly in Colombian and Campina Grande Rainbows. It is much less noticeable in my Peruvian Rainbows and I have never seen it in my Isla Marajo and Argentinian Rainbows.
