I am planning on moving my water dragons to a new cage that is going to be wood (They are in a glass tank now). I was wondering what the best way to heat it is?
I was going to put the CHE and the uvb/uva lights on the top screen (as it is now), but this cage is much taller (and wood), so how can I heat the bottom adaquetly?
Any tips?

What you have planned sounds good, just add a UTH to the mix and you should have it...

well, I didn't really think it would be enough heat, because the new wooden cage would be twice the height of their current tank. An UTH type thing would probably be good, but where would I put it? Are there any kinds that are ok near wood?

There are different ways you can go with a UTH. You can use a "model" that is safe for inside the cage with no other steps to take like Cobra or Kane. Or you can use flexwatt or an exo-terra and seal it under plexiglass, pvc(sentra)or even ceramic tile. Just make sure you that themrostat and your done....
