Are you talking about species Pristurus?

You might wait a long time before finding anyone on this side of the Atlantic who keeps these. Perhaps try posting this on the Kingsnake Europe forums if you don't receive any replies here.

Terrestrial? Who you calling terrestrial?!!

They are very easy to care for. They are small so you can get away with a 10 gallon tank for a pair. They are the typical desert gecko wrt temperatures. I haven't read the article but the author breeds these consistently so her article probably covers everything you need to know.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention names but I think Phil Tremper in USA still works with these.

The latin name for this species is Pristurus carteri in case that helps in your search. There are a few breeders working with these in the US, but I know Phil Tremper (Trempers Lizards Ranch) http://www.tremperslizardranch.com/ works with them. I got some from him a couple years back. They are very cool geckos!

Is this the June or July Reptiles Magazine?

I think its july

Thanks for the reply. The author told me it would appear in July but here in Canada, the June issue was just released this week. I suppose subscribers get the magazine before the others. Either that or it is released earlier in USA.

I work with these fasinating species. These are a species all to themselves, and I predict them to only get more popular and more sought after as more spotlight is shown on them. I should have a section on my site about them soon.
