Super clean black & white (HUGE) Cumberland County, NC. Kingsnake

BlueKing May 10, 2005 06:29 PM

Found this NICE Huge male Kingsnake yesterday. He's the cleanest NC. locale E. king I've ever seen. His white bands are wide and superclean with a nice black background color. He's just under 5' (4'11" long and very solid & thick! Took this pic outside in cloudy weather with no flash. He wouldn't sit still until I put him in this rubbermaid container for a minute.

But before anyone gets mad: I also breed brooksi, goini, califoniae, holbrookis, corns. . . and have a few little ones up to my one BAD ACE INDIGO on steroids!!!!

...at the head pattern and the first little slash just behind the head. Then look at my big eastern. Almost identical. Cool.
I thought you posted my boy!

Very nice Mark! I like those chains on him. They Do look better than on my male - On my male they are all broken on the sides, but his white bands have no black mixed in the scales, which is a first for me concerning NC kings. All the others I've caught DO have black edged scales even in the middle of their white bands! This one doesn't.

Thanks Keith!
Your old girl saw him and said: "Holy SH_T!" Don't think she'll try to eat that one, LOL!

Thanks, Steve! The pic really does not show just how "clean" he is!

That one looks great!! We caught two under the same board in Edenton, NC on April 29. They had nice patterns but were in rough shape! One was about 4 feet and had a lot of marks on it and was in shed. The smaller one about 3-3.5 feet, looked just as rough and had many eye caps still left on one eye. We photographed them and sent them on their way. I should be posting picts in the next couple days. The only thing we saw in Columbia was a DOR Racer and DOR spotted turtle.
