Well, after putting together my melanistic eastern male, and my NY Blue eastern female on the 6th, they mated for a day and a half before I split them up. I gave the female melanistic a hopper while this was happening. On the 8th, I gave the male melanistic 2 pinkies, and on the 9th, he ate another one. Well, today, I decided to pair the two up for the second time, since the first time it didn't work out, seemed the male was scared of her.
For about 10 minutes they didn't do anything, the male poked his head around, but really wasn't trying. And the female was focusing on me(she still thinks I always have food lol). I left them alone, turned the lights out. About 10 minutes later, they were mating. I'm going to leave them together until tomorrow night, seperate them, feed them and throw them back together on Sunday. The male will get paired up with the female Blue on Friday.
No pics this time..sorry
