Yep, can't wait for some down time, haha. That's one of the reasons why I picked teaching to finish up my last twenty yrs. Now I can't wait for retirement, 'cus there's other things I want to do and am better at, even. I'll be in Green Valley end of July, and IHS.

Nice pix, btw. Love that flower. Hope you get a few wks. vacation anyways

Yeah, I'm surface active if you can count the things I'm doing and seeing considering the crummy weather we're usually getting. We've had a few nice days and I've had to take advantage of them. I've mostly been seeing and working with amphibs, like these spotted sals....

The weather has been cold for the most part. We had a few warm days in a row and I went out to my massasauga spot, but they weren't out of hibernation, yet. I had to settle for watching the breeding American toads, central newts, and other amphibians, for the most part. I did see an Eastern garter, northern water snake, and this smooth green snake...

The racers aren't out, yet, as well as many others. I'm going downstate next weekend and hope to see some. It's a spot that has some unbelievable blue ones. That other one was dull in comparison. I hope they'll be out.

Keep postin' bud...TC
