So, amongst a plethora of other important things to do tonight, I allowed one of them to be checking on how the new acquisitions were doing in their make-shift cage. Started moving tiles around and counted 1 lizard... 2 lizard... where's 3 lizard? Crap.
So, this marks the fourth macfadyeni escape and I even bought them a new cage cover this evening. I blew about a half-hour, that I didn't really have to waste, looking in all the "obvious" places and all came up clear. It's been a long day so I started getting clothes together for tomorrow. All I can say is that I'm glad I was suprised tonight rather than in the morning in the dark. Found a big blue lizard contemptively staring back up the leg of my shorts.
This must be worth a name for him, but I'm at a complete loss for it might be.
This just validates that one should not keep those things which you would not want to wake up next to. All thoughts of scorpions, tarantualas, centipedes, millipedes, and snakes are right out the door.

"Yes, it's a problem. No, I don't want to talk about it."

Crazy escape artists they are.
