Been working a lot (and that means traveling with me) and wanted to say a quick hello. Been reading the posts. The new arrivals are beauties as always and the updated pics on old friends are always looked fwd to. Hope the best with the 2 (I think) that laid eggs.
Luca is doing great. He has tried to bite me 3x though. It was a bit of a shock. The first 2x were one after another while hand feeding sliced grapes that I thought were so thin he could not get a hold of them and nipped me by mistake. The next time was about a week later while I was holding greens. This time he looked from the greens to my fingers and back again. He went for the finger. Not sure what to make of it but he was sitting in my hand and climbing on my arm right after as happy and friendly as can be. I thought is was just him trying to find out what this hand is that keeps arriving.
He eats just about everything I offer him so far except Red Chard. Although he seems to eat a lot he has lost 4 grams. He was 61G on 4-21, 59G on 4-27 and today he weighed in at 57G. Not sure if that is cause for alarm. When he first arrived he was taking these monster poops (I was actually dismayed at the thought of what i would be cleaning when he grew up) now things are much more normal in size. Thought of weighing him before and after (they were that big!) and not sure why that has calmed down. I travel for work so he does miss fresh greens every few days for 1 day but eats his dry and I leave the old in there. I assume that this could be the differnce in his weight from how I am able to feed him vrs Audrey before delivery.
