I noticed she was not out basking yesterday, so I went looking. I carefully lifted every rock in the pen and found no signs of digging. It could be she dug down into some of the heavy vegetation and went down from there. I didn't know if she had escaped or what. I was glad to see her today...a bit dirty and definately skinnier. I brougth her inside to get some post-birth babying. Easy food and drinks! I looked around again, and couldn't find any nesting area where she may have laid them. I'm marking my calendar and plan to remove the lizards from the pen at 40 days. Curios to see if babies show up out there. Weather should be fine, as it seems she dug them deep somewhere.
