I am planning to get a hatchling at the IRBA show in Pomona, CA this weekend, but it seems like almost everyone is still waiting for their '05s to hatch. Is it too soon to get an 05 hatchling this weekend? I know lots of people are getting WC shipments in right about now, do I run a high risk of getting sold a WC that someone tries to pass off as a 05 CBB? Thanks.

Being shipped just about instantly right out of the egg from Africa, your chances of having success with an 05 CH and an 05 CBB would be about the same. I say about, because someone has already started off your CBB baby to assure it is feeding. It would depend on where you get your CH baby, but some breeders start these off for you as well. G'luck finding yourself a new snake.

I definitely want a CBB - I am wondering if it is too early in the breeding season for there to be a good selection at the IRBA show this weekend.
