well he didn't eat earlier but I am still hoping...I came home to find that he is shedding...I placed an order for 3/16 inch superworms that will be here tomorrow...his shipment of 1000 crix came in today...they are much smaller than what I purchased at the pet store ( yes, I gutload)also, he pooped, now I'm wondering if he possiblly ate too much of the larger crix and just wasn't really hungry 'cause I certainly didn't expect him to poop after this long... he certainly looks and acts healthy...and of course I didn't expect him to start shedding...I will be trying the little crix soon...and hoping more than can be imagined that he will eat...

Well....it's good that he pooped. Did you save it for a fecal? Hopefully he'll eat better for you on the smaller crickets and baby superworms. Where did you get the little superworms, btw? Keep me posted please...I'm rooting for the little guy/girl.

yep...I ordered the superworms from Reptile City...I hate ordering from a place I'm unfamiliar with but the place I get crix doesn,t carry the mini superworms...I'll keep updating, I think I need the support... lizards are just so different then other pets I've had...plus I'm a mom so I have worrying down...lol

SOmetimes during shed,dragons will stop eating and pretty much be grumpy and unhappy. (all that ichy skin coming off). With my old dragon I noticed this more when she was doing a body shed, than with limbs and tail.

I know that shedding can make them miserable...I know my five month old never went off food till his last shed which was just recently...he didn't completely stop eating but wasn't his normal piggy self...I'm hoping the cross between stress and shed is the cause...I'm misting to help the shed, he did lose alot of his skin yesterday...ready to pull my hair out...

I'm in about the same boat. Mine just got done shedding. Hes eating a lot of but not pooping. I can't stop worrying!
