I fed my pacman for the first time tonight. He ate 4 crikets and an earthworm. I fed him in an empty 5 1/2 gallon tank.
What is a better way to feed him. In his tank or in an empty tank like i did so he doesnt eat the dirt along with his meal?

If your frog is small, which I think it is ( otherwise you would as this, right? ), you can have a layer of damp paper towels as substrate and tilt the encolsure slightly at an angle and put water at the lower edge to create a water area for the frog; this way your pac-man won't get a mouthful of substrate while feeding and get impaction, which is lethal. Frogs take sometimes to adjust to new environment because they are easily stress when introduce to new surroundings; that's why I tend to set the same set-up for them everytime I clean the cage for my pac-man.
I take my guy out to feed him...he wont eat in his tank.
if you're using normal soil as substrate, that's bad you dontk now whats in the soil.
go out and buy a block of coconut husk bedding, " Bed a Beast or Forest Bed"
It's okay if once in a while the frog gets a mouthful of bedding it, it's harmless if eaten.
but other than that, maybe u can dangle the food items infront of the frog with tongs or tweezers or your fingers.
