fired up??

This may be a stupid question, but...
I know most of the pics of chams you see are of them fired up. How do you get your chams to fire up and does this stress them out? Here is a pic of mine resting

Show them their reflection in a mirror, another larger animal, or another cham. An occasional flare up won't hurt a healthy cham, as long as it is not every day or lasts a very long time.
