Being fairly new to the bearded dragon world I have noticed in the pictures that have been posted here that some juveniles have rings or circles on their bellies and others do not( ours does. Is this a permanent marking? Does it signify a particlular strain? Just curiuos. Thanks.

the drak rings on the stomach are usually a sign of stress, i think babies get them alot more than adults. they arnt permenent

I was told they darken to absorb light and heat.....
Mine have them and they leave and go away.
I think it could be a stress thing possibly. When hes sleeping his tummy is always white. sometimes during the day its dark.

The rings on your beardie look like ours. I haven't paid much attention as to whether they go away or not. Thanks for the info.

watch when its dark out and hes sleeping, they will probably fade into his tummy color.
