Excitement

Reading these threads have really made learning about BRBs much easier and is making me ache for July when I plan on getting my BRB(s). I'm very glad that everyone here is easy-going and not hostile - I guess the type of snake really says something about the owner and it's just another aspect that convinces me BRBs are the right type.

On another note, does anyone have any experience on whether it's best to have just one or two?
Thanks.

I have 10 or so Brazilian Rainbows. But this is only because I'm interested in breeding them and I like to bring new genes into my breeding pool. It's always really cool to see someone who keeps just one snake because that one animal is usually cared for very well. The more you have, the thinner your attention is spread. Besides, these animals really don't get lonely. A warm cage and a furry meal makes them happy. The little stimulation they do require can be provided by you taking them out of the cage and handling them. I guess I would recommend starting with one. They are always available, and if you want another one later you will always be able to find one.

By the way, I like the artwork.

Now I'm wondering....what type of snake am I? The drawing is very good...it captures correct movement IMO. I think I'm more of a gecko.

It is a beautiful picture, not done by me though. One of my friend's friends. She's got talent with lead and charcoal. Doesn't even need color to get the message across.
