Arrival!!!

2mnypetz May 12, 2005 12:21 PM

The Uro youngster from Lindsay Pike arrived this morning in fabulous shape! I warmed it up with a quick soak and thorough dry, put it in the 40g breeder I had s/u, it basked under the lights for a minutes and then ate 5-6 mouthfuls of endive! It's exploring now, but seems quite happy. I'll try for pictures tonight. I took a few, but was too close so they're pretty blurry. Yea, we're so excited!

Thanks! I couldn't believe it when I arrived back home this evening it had eaten the entire salad I put out for him/her....guess I'll double it tomorrow. Just like being a new Mom, it's funny how a "good eater" makes you feel better

Congratulations! That is phenomenal news. The amount these "little" guys eat continues to amaze me.

Keep us posted, I can't wait to see pictures either!
