Nice trio Chris.....this female looks gravid...can you feel any eggs........thanks, chris' colubrids

Chris, she is definately gravid and eating like a pig. Both females have spent time with with at lest one male before they were shipped to me. I'm hoping to double clutch her this year. She's proven and double clutched the year before last. Thanks for looking.

Does resemble an Okeetee cornsnake (probably cost more though, huh?)

of the Abbotts okeetee that Uncloudy and phiber_optikx were refering to. I've seen plenty of regular okeetee's but I'm not sure I've ever seen these "Abbotts" okeetee. Not sure if that's the same ones you're refering to Mark.

Thanks for the compliment Mark and thanks for looking.

Here's another pic of him that I just uploaded.

Chris,
Great trio and I can't wait see some offspring. Thayeri, in my opinion, have to be the most exciting to breed of any snake species I can think of.
As for the Abbott's line Okeetee it's just a trait in Okeetee's that have larger black borders around the saddles. My '03 female Okeetee hasn't shown as much black borders as other Abbott Okeetee I've seen, but she is one according to Don at South Mountain.
It's kind of like the opposite trait that Lassiter wants in his thayeri...............lol
Congrats on the trio,
Uncloudy
Chris

Thanks "not cloudy" LOL. I was thinking that the Abbotts okeetee's were maybe a more intense color of orange. I like that reduced black on thayeri too. But the black adds a cool contrast that makes the color differences stand out even more in specimens that have it.
